Pf2 fighter. My current character is a Lizardfolk Fighter, focused on one-handed fighting and control. My teammates are playing a Human Alchemist Bomber, a Human Empiricist Investigator that tends to attack from range with a shortbow, and a Fleshwarp Cleric of Pharasma, cloistered but low on CHA and high on INT for some reason. My stats are as follows:

Gish [Magus] Build With Fighter Multiclassing Into Wizard. It’s my first time playing PF2e coming right out of PF1e and I decided to remake one of my favorite 1e classes, the Magus. The goal here was to be a strength based melee build who occasionally tosses out CC and debuff spells to have some more variety and options in combat.

Most characters gain skill feats at 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter. When you gain a skill feat, you must select a general feat with the skill trait; you can’t select a general feat that lacks the skill trait. The level of a skill feat is typically the minimum level at which a character could meet its proficiency prerequisite.Rogue fighters can make good use of fighter’s free hand, two-weapon fighting, or archery feats. Spellcaster fighters benefit greatly from the additional weapon proficiencies, and fighter is a solid choice for any spellcaster of a particularly martial bent. There is a Remastered version here. It really starts with the level 2 Combat Grab instead of parry, and becomes devastating with Dazing Blow at 6. Combat grab is interesting because it ignores the enemy's fortitude save completely AND any size requirements, just going off the fighter's attack bonus vs their AC. I'm thinking of playing a Fighter with a touch of Devil blood in him (via Sorcerer feats). I think I'd play him like a switch-hitter: throw some spells at first, and then use Bespell Weapon and start slashing. While exploring: watching intently for an opportunity to become angry and violent. In downtime: carousing. Mechanically, the barbarian is a Defender and Striker similar to the Fighter. However, unlike the Fighter you’re largely locked into melee combat, so your role in the party is fairly limited. The Archer Archetype is one of the fighting style Archetypes of Pathfinder 2e, allowing any class to focus their feats into being a particular kind of combatant. For the Archer this means being well versed in the Bow weapon group and stealing more or less all of the Fighter feats related to ranged combat. If you want to make Bows or Crossbows ...

First up, Barbs are generally as good as combat maneuvers as Fighters, because they're based on Athletics rather than attack bonus If a Barbarian picks up Furious Bully, their Athletics checks actually become better than Fighter attacks for basically the whole game (levels 8 to 12, then 15 to 20), making the barbarian's Trip and Grapple actions the most likely things to succeed in the entire game. The fighter archetype grants access to great feats for characters focusing on any combat style, and it’s particularly helpful for characters looking to diversify their offensive abilities …Instead of starting with fighter, start with a bomber alchemist. Level 1: take the alchemical familiar feat. Give your familiar the valet ability as this allows you to draw two bombs at once, allowing you to throw more (quick draw is ordinarily better, but it doesn't work with some of the other feats we're using).Fighter - L12 - Improved Duelling Riposte - +1 Riposte Reaction Champion - L14 - Divine Reflexes - +1 Champion Reaction You could go into Bastion from Champion and pick up Quick Shield Block at L10 (since it is named differently from the champion feat) to have: IMO - Fighter is a better base as that +2 to hit means extra crit potential.Rogue fighters can make good use of fighter’s free hand, two-weapon fighting, or archery feats. In PF2 a Dex Fighter can easily spare a 14 in Strength and then increase that every time they get a boost (alongside increasing Dex and two other stats every time as well). PF2 is much more friendly to multi-attribute builds than PF1 or dnd.The fighter is a good option for new players, offering a strong core kit and the flexibility to build into new options that allow you to learn more about the system as …As for archetypes, there were two that looked immediately promising to be. The first is the Medic archetype, which will bring your Medicine skill to Expert so you can take Continual Healing at level 3. This allows you to heal often and for basically free. The required Battle Medicine is good for emergencies as well.If you have Trick Magic Item, you can get a level 2 Wand of Longstrider for 8 hours of +10 Speed. A 20% increase in the chance to hit does not offset the 40% more damage the alchemist deals. This also doesn't count for the fact that the fighter can only throw 13 bombs per day, whereas the alchemist can easily throw 30+. And the alchemist can do shenanigans with ...

Since fighters are a little less defensive than champions I like the reactions more. Particularly if you're a 2H fighter. Tyrant and desecrator both seem good mechanically. Especially after combat reflexes for tyrant, since you could try and AoO the enemy if they take the prone option. Also tyrant seems less likely to derail a game ...Fighter: Fighter has a lot of stances it can take, which compete for the two stances in Marshal, but if you forgo those Fighter stances, at 14th you can take Stance Savant to enter either Aura stance as soon as Initiative is rolled. Magus: Magus already has an overloaded action economy problem, so juggling Marshal actions as well is difficult.Fighter deeper in the tree gets several multi action finishes that may dance around the MAP issues you face as a 2h martial. For Barbarian it seems like swipe and whirlwind strike are the only real ways to delay that penalty. Thus I was thinking of carrying 2 weapons- a bastard sword and a halberd.Introduction. Following the tradition established by DnD 3.5’s Duskblade, the Magus is a medium-armored hybrid martial caster. Their signature feature, Spellstrike, allows you to deliver spells at the end of a weapon, combining the damage of your weapon with the damage of a spell. However, in exchange for this exceptional martial capability ...Apr 29, 2023 ... That's stupid. Magic items are an essential part of the fighter's power gain. It seems way too unreliable. Same note about the human's extra level 1 feat. Both should be 4*. The only combat style where a second level 1 feat is kinda mediocre is the two-handed fighter because sudden charge is kinda mediocre. If you took dragon, it gives a ton of extra damage with a new type, if you take giant you get a big weapon, which sounds like the opposite of your build. Fury depends greatly on how much you want an extra level 1 barbarian feat at level 6. Our two weapon fighter barbarian rogue is a beast. At level 16, one session he did 326 damage in a round.Assuming 18 DEX short sword dual wielding level 1 fighter and ranger.. Fighters are better for their first two strikes using double slice, but the third suffers (+4 DEX, +4 expert, +1 level) so a ‘full attack’ for a fighter would be +9/+9/+1. Rangers are better at getting off many attacks with their hunter’s edge of flurry.Make two Strikes, one with each of your two melee weapons, each using your current multiple attack penalty. If you're looking for borderline as close to busted as things get in PF2e, then the Dualweilding Pick or Gnome Flick-Mace are both the twinkiest, super high DPS builds that one can make with fighters according to the forums. While the ability scores are now very easy to achieve (it was PAINFUL making a Dwarf Archer in PF1), I am not sure which class would suit an archer better in PF2. The fighter archer in PF1 is very easy to build, you get a ton of feats that all make your archery ever more deadly and just build straight up.Ability Scores. Dexterity is the most important Ability for a ranged Fighter. Constitution is a good second choice, since you can expect that enemies will want to shoot you back.
