Aug 6, 2010. #1. 1980 Ford 555 with early (pre 1981) power shift transmission. Worked good until the other day. I did have that problem that people talk about with the clogged inlet screen where it quits working all together, but this only happened once many months ago and has not occured since. I never cleaned the screen however.
