HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Horry County is continuing to grow and at Tuesday night's county council meeting, they discussed building more homes in the Myrtle Beach area. The proposal would rezone around five acres of land along Enterprise Road and allow for the construction of 61 new townhomes.

Members of the Horry County Council and Myrtle Beach City Council will meet for dinner at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Swing & Swine in Myrtle Beach, SC. The dinner is not a formal meeting, and there will be no official actions or votes taken.
