The Fernbank Museum has the big exhibits, the dinosaurs skeletons, and the IMAX theater. The Fernbank Science Center is a much smaller facility across from Fernbank Elementary School that has free admission, some small exhibits, and a planetarium. We'd been to the museum but wanted to take our kids to a planetarium.
